Tour de France celebrations in Denmark on 27-28 July

Celebrations are scheduled in Denmark on 27 and 28 July to mark professional bike rider Jonas Vingegaard’s victory in this year’s Tour de France. Please find an overview below.

Wednesday 27 July

Open car ride and City Hall, Copenhagen
On Wednesday, Jonas Vingegaard arrives in Copenhagen. He will travel in an open car from CPH Airport to the City Hall, where he we will receive greetings by the public from the balcony and afterwards attend an official event hosted by Copenhagen Lord Mayor and the chairperson of Grand Départ Copenhagen Denmark, Sophie Hæstorp Andersen.

Tivoli, Copenhagen
Following the celebrations at City Hall Jonas Vingegaard and other Danish Tour-riders will be at an event at Tivoli, Copenhagen. It is scheduled to begin around 16:00 CEST.

Celebrations in Glyngøre
On Thursday, the Tour-winner and his family will be celebrated at an event in his hometown Glyngøre, Skive Kommune.
