The International Press Centre (IPC) in Copenhagen is delighted to host the press briefing ‘The Future of Danish Defence’ on Wednesday 20 April 2022.
At the briefing a panel of Danish MPs will present and discuss their parties’ priorities on Denmark’s future defence- and security policy.
The presentations and following Q&A is expected to reflect the implications of the war in Ukraine, the Parliamentary negotiations on the increased Danish defence budget towards 2033 and the upcoming referendum on the Danish EU-defence opt-out.

Niels Flemming Hansen, Conservative People’s Party – defence spokesman
Søren Espersen, Danish People’s Party – foreign policy spokesman
