Invitation to background briefing - Copenhagen Climate Ministerial

Climate Ministers meet in Copenhagen to set the course towards COP28.

On 20th and 21st of March, the Copenhagen Climate Ministerial will be held as the first political high-level meeting following up on COP27.

The current and incoming COP presidencies of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates are hosting the meeting in the Danish capital together with Denmark. The ministerial meeting aims to lay the path to a successful COP28 delivering on the Paris agreement targets and the COP27 conclusions.

Background briefing at the IPC on Thursday

There will be a background briefing for journalists prior to the Copenhagen Climate Ministerial. The briefing is by the Danish climate ambassador Tomas Anker Christensen.

It takes place at the International Press Center in Copenhagen at Skindergade 7, 1st floor, on Thursday 16th of March at 4pm-5pm.
