The briefing ahead of the Greenlandic election for Inatsisartut.
The International Press Centre (IPC) – in collaboration with The Greenland Representation in Copenhagen - is delighted to invite you to the press briefing “Understand the Greenland election” on Tuesday 17 April from 15:00 – 16:30 at the IPC in Copenhagen.

The briefing takes place ahead of the Greenlandic election for Inatsisartut.

Understand the Greenland election

How is the political system in Greenland constructed? What are the main agenda points of the political parties? What are the main debate topics? Which politicians are most likely to have the greatest influence on the result?

Associate professor Ulrik Pram Gad and journalist Martine Lind Krebs will try to answer these questions to prepare you for the coverage of the election.

Ulrik Pram Gad is Associate Professor at the Department of Culture and Global Studies, Aalborg University. From 1998 to 2004 he worked for the Government of Greenland in Nuuk.

Martine Lind Krebs is a journalist (covering Greenland and the Arctic) and culture- and information officer at The Greenlandic House in Copenhagen.
