Press Briefing - How Democracies Cope with COVID19 (HOPE)

Press briefing with Professor Michael Bang Petersen, Aarhus University, HOPE (How Democracies Cope with COVID19) research project.

The International Press Centre in Copenhagen is delighted to invite media for a briefing with Professor Michael Bang Petersen, Aarhus University, who manages the HOPE (How Democracies Cope with COVID19) research project.

The project uses “big data” to measure how governments and citizens react (and with what consequences) during the COVID-19 crisis.

Michael Bang Petersen will present key findings and also discuss challenges ahead in the continued handling of the crisis in Denmark and abroad.

The HOPE research team consists of academics from the universities of Aarhus and Copenhagen and analyses developments in Denmark and also monitors data in Sweden, Germany, France, Italy, Hungary, UK and USA.
