Press Briefing: Sustainability as a key trading parameter to export markets - impacts and changes post covid-19?

Sustainability plays a continuously important role when doing business abroad. According to a new analysis by the public-private Danish partnership Food Nation, 44% of the surveyed decision makers in the agriculture and food industry mean that sustainability is more relevant than price and other trading parameters. 83% points out that sustainability will become more important to their company in the coming years.

But what does it look like in the new reality with COVID-19?

The just published analysis examines brand awareness and Denmark's image as an agricultural and food country among decision-makers in six selected export markets: China, the USA, Japan, India, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Join the press briefing with Lise Walbom, CEO, Food Nation, and Frank Øland, Chief Economist and Area Director, Danish Agriculture and Food Council, to hear more about the results of the analysis and how COVID-19 is affecting the export markets.

Facts about the image analysis
The insight report is based on a quantitative survey and qualitative in-depth interviews conducted by the Danish analysis and consulting company Epinion for Food Nation.

The insight report examines Denmark's image as a food nation among decision makers in the agriculture and food industry, either as producers, purchasers, sellers or in the processing of food products and solutions. In total, 1229 decision makers participated in the survey from six of Denmark's important export markets: The United States, The United Kingdom, Germany, China, Japan and India.

The survey covers topics such as knowledge, associations, values and importance.
