Better Food for More People

25 - 26 August Danish Minister for Environment and Food Esben Lunde Larsen hosts and international Food Summit, Better Food for More People, in Copenhagen. The press is welcome when accredited.


The topic is how to ensure better food for more people in the future. Four themes will be addressed:

• Better food through better information.
• Safe food for more people.
• Gastronomy - the tool for better food and Prevention.
• Food waste.

120 invited guests from Denmark, China, the USA, France, Great Britain, Germany, The Netherlands, Cyprus, Poland, Greece, Israel, Japan, Sweden, Bolivia and Russia will take part in the summit.

On 25 August there will be an opening dinner at the Copenhagen Town Hall with HRH Princes Marie, the Copenhagen Culture and Leisure Mayor, Carl Christian Ebbesen and the Danish Minister. The press is welcome for the speeches from 17.30.

The Summit will be at Christiansborg on 26 August 9 – 17.
